Rooting for success at the REC Awards: Harry Cook shortlisted for award
Eurobase People is proud to announce that one of our recruiters Harry Cook has been shortlisted for Best Newcomer in Permanent Recruitment at the REC Awards 2023.
The annual Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) Awards is the UK’s most prestigious event for recruiters. This year the REC Awards will be taking place on Thursday 23rd November.
The Team is delighted to see that Harry has been recognised for his hard work this year.
Harry's focus has been on targeting and sourcing Front-End Developers in Germany, recently embarking on a trip to Berlin and Hamburg – as seen in the main image - to visit clients and strengthen their partnerships!
Harry took to LinkedIn to celebrate the news of his achievement saying: “So this happened… I have just been shortlisted for ‘Best Newcomer in Permanent Recruitment’ at the 2023 REC Awards!
“To say the last 18 months have been eventful would be an understatement. From fitting kitchens to placing candidates, from working with wood to now working with people, my most used tools have shifted from a hammer and screwdriver to a mouse and computer.
“Everyone said I was mad to go from Carpentry to recruitment (perhaps they are right), but through the highs and the lows, I have enjoyed every second and have no regrets.
“I'd like to thank my incredible team at Eurobase People for their support and guidance, as well as the Recruitment & Employment Confederation for the recognition.
“I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in November for the big night! I guess I should probably go out and buy a tuxedo now, right?...”
