Senior Manager – Financial Planning (SAP IP/BPC/SAC)
A leading consultancy is looking to hire a Senior Manager with expertise in financial planning within the banking sector. The focus of the role is on SAP-based planning solutions (IP/BPC/SAC), contributing to digital transformation projects for clients in financial services.You’ll be working within a growing team of consultants, advising clients on process optimisation and designing end-to-end planning solutions. Your role will combine strategic thinking with hands-on implementation, and you’ll collaborate closely with clients' stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with both current operations and long-term architecture goals. Key responsibilities include:
Solution development: Analyse customer requirements and coordinate planning solution development, ensuring alignment with project timelines and resources.
Project leadership: Lead or support complex planning projects, becoming familiar with business processes and driving delivery.
Concept & design: Create IT and business concepts tailored to client needs and guide clients through to the final solution.
Implementation: Execute solution delivery based on the concepts developed, integrating them into client systems.
Support & QA: Oversee testing phases, support rollouts, and assist during go-live activities.
Innovation & client development: Contribute to solution enhancements, support pre-sales efforts, and help build long-term client relationships.
Key skills and experience:
Around 10 years of experience in financial controlling or bank management
Strong functional knowledge of planning processes
Hands-on experience with SAP IP/BPC and/or SAC Planning
Clear and confident communicator, strong customer orientation, and a collaborative mindset
Fluency in both German and English is essential
