My client has over 50 developers and UX designers who live and thrive in bright and modern premises in Stavanger. They are a wholly owned subsidiary of a larger company, with whom we collaborate, both professionally and socially. The projects and customers come in many sizes and shapes. It is important that you are both nice and curious as a person.
Who are you?
They need people who know people and design. You are out talking to users and customers, you simplify, draw, collaborate, explain, and communicate. The end product is preferably something digital but can also be spiced with something physical. Key words for what they work with: UX, service design, insight and prototyping. They expect you to know a good deal about this already.
This is how we work (usually)
Every project is different, but in design we usually start by defining goals and target groups for the solution. They then travel out and meet those who will use the solution and map needs and define a user journey. Then they outline some suggestions for solutions and test these against users. Finally, they make a final visual design for the solution. They hold their baby in their hand until it is big enough to fend for itself. None of us know everything about all the steps in the processes, but they are all specialized in something.
Other things that are worth mentioning
When you are employed with them, you are part of their competence plan, which will keep you updated and give you room to develop. Otherwise, we offer competitive conditions, opportunities for influence and a lot of social.
