My client are a global IT consultancy working throughout multiple industies, this role is working working defence/intelligence. Due to the nature of this work a West DV Clearance is required

Duration -12 months

Key Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will:

• Integration and Deployment: Integrate development outputs into release modules and guide their progression to operational service.
• Release-to-Service Management: Navigate security and accreditation processes to ensure seamless transitions to operational environments.
• Technical Expertise: Provide insights and guidance on system designs, tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Infrastructure Development: Design and develop pragmatic solutions to solve real-world challenges in IT infrastructure.
• Incident Resolution: Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve incidents to maintain robust system performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with program objectives and client requirements.

To excel in this role, you should have experience in a number of these technologies:
Technical Expertise

• Operating Systems: Red Hat Linux and Windows Server.
• Virtualisation: VMware, OpenShift and Hyper-V
• Cloud Platforms: AWS Cloud or Azure.
• Automation Tools: Ansible, Puppet, and Foreman.
• Programming & Scripting – Java, Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform.
• Containerisation: Docker or Kubernetes.
• Networking Fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and HTTP protocols.
